A date feature takes up residence at 3 o’clock, completing a balanced and cleverly laid out dial. The IWC Schaffhausen name is emblazoned onto the surface of the dial at 12 o’clock. There a triangular index is accompanied by two dots. Aside from a 42 hour power reserve, the movement also performs at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour behind a specially engraved steel caseback bearing a Royal Air Force aircraft. The robust links of this watch’s stainless steel bracelet are tailored and shaped to meld effortlessly to the contours of the wrist, securing with a foldable clasp engraved with the famous IWC lettering.
